Hi there. Welcome to addINKtive designs. The Stamp Review Crew are back for another blog hop. This round we are featuring the gorgeous stamp set, Paisleys & Posies.
The SRC are a group of International Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators who love to show you lots of creative ways to use your stamps.
If you get lost along the way, just click on the banner above to take you to the main blog where you will see a list of participants for this round –
Paisleys & Posies Photopolymer Bundle – 143515 Price: $77.25
This is the bundle description in my on-line store –
Paisleys & Posies Photopolymer Stamp Set
A modern twist on a classic shape, this isn’t your grandmother’s paisley pattern. Although, we’re sure she’d definitely like it.
* Quantity: 18 photopolymer stamps
* Suggested clear blocks (sold separately): a, b, c, d
Paisley Framelits Dies
* 19 dies
* Largest piece: 2-1/2″ x 1-3/4″ (6.4 x 4.4 cm)
* Use with Big Shot
For my project today I first made some card candy and created a couple of owls using a combination of dies and stamps from the bundle –
Then I stepped them up a notch by adding some accents from the coordinating DSP –
Lastly, I added the owls to a Fancy Fold Card –
Basic Card Measurements –
One 5 1/4″ x 12″ piece of card stock for card base.
Score card stock at 2″, 4″, 8″ and 10″.
Add a rim and box inserts to the centre section.
More details in my next tutorial!
…. and breathed a sigh of relief because I managed to get most of this post written before the hop went live!
Thanks so much for hopping by! Next on the hop is another fellow Aussie demo, Bruno Bertucci and I’m sure he’s going to have something amazing to share with you –
Or you can hop back to the lovely, Dawn Tidd for some great inspiration –

I’ve just come back from #onstagelive2016 in Brisbane and in my opinion it was the best SU Event so far in the 8 years I’ve been with Stampin’ Up! ®. It was great to meet Jess Williams for the first time and Kelly Kent. Sorry, I didn’t get to meet Bruno but managed to catch up with his lovely wife, Kylie. On the last night I went out to dinner with the Just Add Ink Design Team; a few years ago I was on the original DT and have kept in touch with most of the team as these girls are my Stampin’ Up! family. I realised that four of us at the dinner were on the SRC so managed to get some photos taken before we all went our separate ways … until next time! Missing you all already … back to work tomorrow … sigh!

Oh my, Bronwyn, how fun are those owls?! They are adorable and I love them in blue. Each of your additions was so much fun to see and I love the final result! You are such an amazing card creator and I can’t wait to see what you do next!
Thanks, Dawn. I can’t wait to do the hop and see what everyone has made.
How very clever of you Bronwyn! Owls, would never of thought of that one!
Thanks, Deb. Sad I didn’t get to meet you this year at #onstagelive2016 – maybe next time. Surprisingly enough I wasn’t going to buy this set until I thought I could probably construct some owls using the stamps and dies. LOL 🙂
Ahhhh!!! I love these owls!! You always inspire me with your completely unique ideas 🙂 And I am so glad to see the picture of most of the Aussie contingent of the SRC! You all look fabulous darling 🙂
Pity registration was full when you thought about joining us for On Stage Live in Brisbane. It would have been awesome to have you there 😉 One day …
Lover the owls! Thanks for the wonderful inspiration..
Thanks, Debbie. I love owls in general and this idea was the reason I bought the stamps.
Oh no Bronwyn… now I have to buy that set. I have been resisting but I love owls and can’t wait to make some owls. Sorry I didn’t get to meet you at Onstage but with so many people it is hard to see who is actually there. Thanks for sharing such a lovely project.
I must admit, I didn’t want this set but once the owl idea popped into my head, I was sold. I think I saw you up on stage in Brissy. Maybe we will spot each other in the crowd next time.
This is a fabulous card – love, love, love it. Something new that I would not have thought of. Amazing project. Thanks so much for sharing.
Thanks, Ann. Glad you dropped by.
