Welcome to the April 2025 Funky Folds Blog Hop!

We are a group of like minded paper crafters who love to make projects with funky folds. Funky actually means “modern and stylish in an unconventional or striking way”… so we are featuring cards that are not your usual rectangle/square portrait or landscape style. Think ‘easel’, ‘pop-up’, ‘gatefold’, ‘z-fold’, ‘shaped’ or 3D cards etc. The list is endless … and it now includes journals, albums etc.

All Blog Hops have an ‘anything goes’ theme using any type of ‘funky’ fold and today I’m sharing an Easel Card featuring the Lavender & Fairies Collection from Paper Rose Studio.

I am loving this collection with its whimsical embossed die-cuts and gorgeous papers and have included some fun metal cutting dies into the design; the stand out being the beautiful Ella’s Garden Rose Circle Frame with some Crystal Stickles for added sparkle!
