Hi and welcome to AddINKtive Designs.
I recently made a Zig-Zag Card for my latest Design Team Project for Paper Rose Studio (you can see that one at the bottom of this post). For a practice run I actually made this one featuring products from the Farmhouse Friends Collection first.
This zig-zag piece (12″ in length) was cut on a diagonal from 1-1/4″ in height on the left side to 4-1/4″ on the far right, scored at the 4″ and 8″ marks along the length.
I die-cut scenes from the Farmhouse Friends Backgrounds 6×6 paper with the largest Lots of Eggs Metal Cutting Die and added the cute little embossed die-cut bunnies and eggs along both sides of the zig-zag extension.
I’ve made quite a few projects with these gorgeous background papers. The scenery takes me back to the English countryside where we holidayed for 2 months last year.

As you can see I changed the original design quite a bit for my DT project deciding to use three different sized egg shapes so they ‘nest’ when the card is closed and opting to use the Pierced Rectangles Metal Cutting Dies for the card base.
Just thought I’d share the design process with you. I’m thinking that I’d like to make another card with the extension zig-zag cut on a diagonal as I love the way that one turned out too.
Thanks for stopping by,
