Hi and welcome to AddINKtive Designs.
Today I have something a little different to share … I’m totally out of my comfort zone when it comes to making ‘flat’ cards and my colouring in skills are a little rusty. Making dimensional, interactive cards is more ‘my thing’ …
But … hey! I was inspired by some gorgeous digital stamps from RAM. The images are rather cute and I thought I’d blow the dust off my alcohol markers to colour in ‘Balloon Girl’ for starters.
I went looking for a sketch to use for the card front and came across this one for the Sunday Stamps Challenge 353 –
‘Pretty Frames’ is the theme for the sketch challenge and I chose to make a frame using the Pierced Rectangles Metal Cutting Die from Paper Rose Studio.
I really enjoyed colouring in as a child and they say you should look at the things you loved to do when you were young and take those ‘hobbies’ into your adult life; there’s certainly room for improvement with my colouring skills but I had fun today!
Do you like to colour in? Have you checked out the whimsical and unique digital stamps from Rachelle Anne Miller?
