Welcome to another Funky Folds Blog Hop!
We are a group of like minded paper crafters who love to make projects with funky folds. Funky actually means “modern and stylish in an unconventional or striking way”… so we are featuring cards that are not your usual rectangle/square portrait or landscape style. Think ‘easel’, ‘pop-up’, ‘gatefold’, ‘z-fold’, ‘shaped’ or 3D cards etc. The list is endless … and it now includes journals, albums etc.
All Blog Hops have an ‘anything goes’ theme using any type of ‘funky’ fold and today I’m sharing a Zig-Zag Album that showcases the Secret Diary 8×8 paper pad from Stamperia –
Here are pics of all the pages; some have pockets filled with tags and other ephemera that have been fussy cut from the paper pad.
Apparently Stamperia did a reprint of the Secret Diary papers as it is one of their most popular collections to date!
This was the album I made in LJ’s Crafty Corner’s Class at Bev’s Cross Crafts and Lynne has another class scheduled for the end of the month to make a 6×6 album.
I’ve had a few enquiries about how to make a Zig-Zag Album and you’ll be pleased to know that I’ve finished filming the tutorial … it just needs editing and then I need to write up the basic instructions and measurements. It shouldn’t be too far away. Lynne’s given me permission to share her design and I’ve also come up with measurements for a smaller sized album as well as some ‘add ons’. So, if you haven’t already, please consider subscribing to my blog so you don’t miss a post.
Catch you next time!
