Making a Card with Mintay Papers Autumn Book for ‘Pumpkin Season’ Challenge at the Card Concept

Hi and welcome to AddINKtive Designs.

I recently purchased the very cute, Autumn Book from Mintay Papers and thought it would be fun to enter the latest challenge at the Card Concept. The theme is ‘Pumpkin Season’ and the pumpkins from the challenge graphic were the inspiration for my CLEAN and LAYERED card.

It’s spring in this part of the world but I couldn’t resist those cute little critters and background papers in the Autumn Book and spent some time ‘fussy cutting’ a few of the adorable animals and foliage to make this Gatefold Double Box Card –

I started off with a very ‘pumpkin’ background, added some 3D elements (two box card sections) and then created a fun scene with all the fussy cut images.

It’s been over two and a half years since I’ve made an instructional video so thought it was high time I got back into the groove. There’s actually a really good reason why I need to ‘dust the cobwebs off’ my You Tube Channel … all will be revealed very soon!

In the meantime, please be patient with me as the past two months have been crazy busy with family events and ‘life’ in general.

And I just had to let you know that I found looking through your tutorials for sale and picking what I could get on my budget just as hard or harder than going thru each catalog that comes out from Stampin Up! High praise indeed but somehow still shy of letting you know how much I love and enjoy replicating your cards! You have quite a talent and your willingness to share with your very well written tutorials is very much enjoyed and appreciated! Thank You!
