Hi there. Welcome to AddINKtive Designs.
Today I’m sharing another very cute Zig-Zag Album. This one is complete with pockets and a handful of holiday pics printed from my INSTAX Mini Printer. It features the gorgeous Farmhouse Friends Backgrounds 6×6 Papers from Paper Rose Studio.
The countryside scenes ‘transport’ me back to the UK and Ireland where hubby and I recently enjoyed a two month holiday. I loved seeing all the daisies, Scottish thistles and other wild flowers that had sprung up everywhere along the sides of the road … such rambling beauty.
Some of my favourite pics are tucked into the pockets of this mini album and I love browsing through each page to gaze at the scenes and reminisce about our recent adventure.
It’s easy to imagine walking along the brook and watching the bees buzzing around the daisies in the pages below –
A fun feature of the following page is the pocket I made by combining two pieces of paper (with the same scene) and cutting along the edge of the grassy hills –
Pics of some Scottish Black-Faced Sheep, Hairy Coos (Highland Cows) and the Scottish countryside are tucked into the woodgrain band and pocket of these album pages –
You can just catch a glimpse of the spectacular sunset that I photographed at Castle Green in the Lakes District with the rustic farmyard fence in the foreground! Can you see why I was drawn to this pack of papers?
The homestead scenes are beautiful as well and I added some extra woodgrain paper from a pack of 6×6, Textures 1.0 on some of the pages.
Here’s a compilation of all the album pages –
If you’re local and would like to attend an upcoming, Zig-Zag Album Class, you can check out my previous blog post for all the details –
I was a little bit more ‘adventurous’ with the next Zig-Zag Album that I made and will share that one with you very soon … one could even say that I ‘dipped my toes’ into scrapbooking! Miracles happen … Needless to say I’m really enjoying this new season in my paper crafting journey.
Thanks so much for stopping by,
beautiful
Thanks, Cindy.
