Welcome to our eighth Funky Folds Blog Hop.
We are a group of like minded paper crafters who love to make projects with funky folds. Funky actually means “modern and stylish in an unconventional or striking way”… so we are featuring cards that are not your usual rectangle/square portrait or landscape style. Think ‘easel’, ‘pop-up’, ‘gatefold’, ‘z-fold’, ‘shaped’ or 3D cards etc. The list is endless … and it now includes journals, albums etc.
All Blog Hops have an ‘anything goes’ theme using any type of ‘funky’ fold and I’ve made a Mini Booklet with Tags from 12×12 Kraft Cardstock –
I wasn’t intending to make another Mini Booklet so soon … until I discovered that a pack of my 6×6 papers would be perfect for such a project! The booklets end up being 3″ square so the 4 small pictures on each page in the Watercolour Landscapes 6×6 Paper Collection were just the right size.
So … I’m back again proving just how addictive these booklets are to make; to switch it up a little, I’ve attached a cover to this one –
Here’s a little peek at all the pages –
Some woodgrain papers from the Textures 1.0 6×6 Paper Collection were included to match the landscape scenes –
I popped a tiny tag (retired CTMH Buildable Tags Dies) into each pocket and found some inspirational quotes about nature from the internet to write on the back of each one.
Here’s a link to a video tutorial of a booklet that is constructed in a similar way from 12×12 paper –
