‘Buildable Tags’ Box Card with ‘Little Hedgehogs’

Hi and welcome to AddINKtive Designs.

Today I have a cute box-card to share with you. It’s made from CTMH products which I bought at a recent Craft Alive Event in Hobart. The ‘Little Hedgehogs’ stamps and dies, along with a set of Thin Cuts ‘Buildable Tags’ were a ‘bargain’ purchase amongst the many tubs of discontinued, Close To My Heart products. 😢

When I saw the ‘pocket’ die amongst the set of tags, I thought it would make a cute box card. I originally intended to have tiered inserts … maybe I’ll try that another day. Instead, I decided to ‘level’ off the pocket die-cuts just above the heart shape to construct the box card inserts. The lower tab was removed from all the die-cut pieces and the extra back piece measures (H)3-1/2″ x (W)2-1/2″. I actually cut two of those (one to cover the tabs at the back of the card where you write the greeting).

Some of the ‘Deets’ – The basket weave patterned paper used on both sides of the box card is from Textures 1.0,  6×6 paper collection from Paper Rose Studio. The hedgehogs and daisies were coloured with Stampin’ Blends (SU’s alcohol markers) – Crumb Cake, Petal Pink, Balmy Blue, Granny Apple Green and Daffodil Delight. Some Wink of Stella was added to the flower centres for a bit of ‘glimmer’.

It easily folds flat to fit inside a standard card-size envelope (C6 or medium) –
