Hi there! I’m Bronwyn Eastley from Australia. Welcome to the home of AddINKtive Designs; a place to share my love of paper crafting.
Do you love to participate in card challenges? I sure do and I’ve discovered some new (to me) card challenge blogs and have combined some of the ideas as inspiration for my most recent projects. Tonight I’m sharing another Congratulatory Card that I made for a friend who recently launched her very first novel (more about that at the end of the post).
For my starting point I chose the Sketch Challenge – PP682 from the Paper Players …
2nd April – Thanks so much for being chosen for ‘A Cut Above Award’.
… and I was keen to use some cutting dies that I’d recently purchased – Autumn Sealed Sprigs from Spellbinders …
… and add the cute bird from the Christmas Bird Poinsettia cutting dies to enter the Collaboration Challenge at Time Out Challenges (Theme) and Just Us Girls (Word Week) – BIRDS.
Project Recipe:
Spellbinders: Cutting Dies – Autumn Sealed Sprigs and Christmas Bird Poinsettia, Clear Stamps – Bibi Cameron’s Butterfly Sentiments
Stampin’ Up!®: Stamp Set – Quiet Meadow, Dies – Stitched Shapes Framelits (retired), Give It A Whirl (label), Cardstock/Ink/Stampin’ Blends Colours – Crumb Cake, Basic White, Early Espresso, Pool Party, Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Petal Pink, Wild Wheat, Crushed Curry, Garden Green, Adhesive Dots: Matte Black, Envelope: Crumb Cake (retired)
Versafine Clair Ink Pad – Nocturne
Lisa Horton Crafts – Pretty Leaves, 6×6, 3D Embossing Folder

Here’s a pic of my lovely friend, Karen, at her book launch at Petrarch’s Bookshop in Launceston.
If you love a good read, make sure you head on over to Karen’s website to check out her new release, Running Home.
Thanks for stopping by,
What a lovely card and what a lovely way to congratulate your friend! I think you had me at the bird, but all the diecut elements are sweet and could hold up on their own! Thanks for playing with my sketch this week at the Paper Players!
You combined those wonderful die cuts in such a creative way, Bronwyn. I’m glad you added the bird so you could enter the Just Us Girls/Time Out collaboration challenge. Thanks for sharing your card with us.
Bronwyn I love the layering of your diecut elements and the embossed panels beneath add great textural interest. I’m sure your friend will love it! Thanks for sharing over at The Paper Players this week!
Your card is just beautiful! Great use of the dies with those beautiful colors! I will definitely be checking out your friend’s new book! Kudos to Karen!
So, so pretty, such a great card and I love all of the elements you used. Thanks for playing along with The Paper Players.
I love this clever take on these combined challenges Bronwyn! All your little diecuts work so well together to create this very special card! Thanks so much for sharing with us at Time Out and JUGS for this special challenge! Happy Easter! 🙂
Wow, wow, WOW! Bronwyn, this is just lovely. I love all of the images and your color combo really brings everything to life. Gorgeous! Thanks so much for joining us this week over at The Paper Players!
