‘Knit Happens’ for the Paper Rose June Challenge – Winter

Hi and welcome to AddINKtive Designs. Today I’m participating in the Monthly Challenge in the Paper Rose Community Group on Facebook.

For June they are challenging us to create a project using the topic of “Winter” … “this is a rather wide ranging challenge so dig through your Paper Rose papers, dies, stencils and stamps and see what you can come up with!”

I have a small selection of Paper Rose Products and decided to make an Open Easel Card using the Circle Frames Stitched Metal Dies, Textures 1.0, 6×6 Patterned Paper and Knit Happens Stamps and Metal Dies.

Aside from paper crafting, I tend to do a lot of knitting over winter, so I thought the Knit Happens Set was an appropriate choice for this month’s challenge theme.

The images were coloured in with Stampin’ Blends (Alcohol Markers) – Boho Blue, Crumb Cake, Pecan Pie, Gray Granite and Smoky Slate.
