Layering Leaves Open Easel Card for Colour INKspiration #145

Hello and welcome to another fun Colour INKspiration Challenge!

You can find Colour INKspiration Challenges on Facebook and there are two challenges every month (on the second and fourth Wednesdays) and what a striking colour combo we have this round.

The challenge for CI#145 is to make a paper craft project using all the colours from the chosen colour combination, Lemon Lime Twist, Tahitian Tide and Blueberry Bushel; you may also add Basic White, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Basic Black or Metallics to your project. We also allow ‘Ivory’ and ‘Bronze’ in the Stampin’ Blends. If you don’t have all the colour palette, feel free to use the closest SU substitute (ie: Azure Afternoon instead of Tahitian Tide). 

My project which features the Layering Leaves Stamps and coordinating Bough Punch, was inspired by a couple of Open Easel Cards I made a while back.

This time around I used the larger circles from the Stylish Shapes Dies to make the opening and circular frame.

The flower buds stamp was inked with Lemon Lime Twist and Tahitian Tide Stampin’ Write Markers (direct to stamp) and then stamped onto some Thick Basic White Cardstock before being punched out.

I used some retired 2022-2024 In Color DSP (Tahitian Tide) for the base of the card and added a pearl to the left of the sentiment.

I’m so pleased that the Bough Punch now has a coordinating stamp set (Layering Leaves) thanks to Million Sales Achiever, Rachel Tessman.
