Mini Pocket Envelope Box Card for Colour INKspiration #136

Hi and welcome to my first blog post for 2023; tonight I’m sharing a Box Card made from the Mini Pocket Envelope Dies for Colour INKspiration Challenge #136. It features the Adorable Owls Stamp Set, Summer Shadows and Stitched Greenery Dies from Stampin’ Up! ®.

You can find Colour INKspiration Challenges on Facebook and there are usually two challenges every month (on the second and fourth Wednesdays) however, we’re on a Summer Break so this will be the only challenge for the month of January.

The challenge for CI#136 is to make a paper craft project using all the colours from the chosen colour combination, Blushing Bride, Mint Macaron, Garden Green and Sahara Sand; you may also add Crumb Cake, Basic White, Very Vanilla, Basic Black or Metallics to your project. We also allow ‘Ivory’ and ‘Bronze’ in the Stampin’ Blends. If you don’t have all the colour palette, feel free to use the closest SU substitute (ie: Flirty Flamingo instead of Blushing Bride). 

I absolutely love the colour combination and was keen to use it on a new idea for a Box Card. It’s been a while since I’ve used the Summer Shadows and Stitched Greenery Dies and I couldn’t resist adding a cute little owl from the FREE Sale-a-bration Stamp Set to the foliage. The card was easy to construct so I decided to make an alternative design which I’ll share with you another day.
