Adorable Owls, Hexagonal Base Pop-Up, Graduation Card

Hello and welcome to AddINKtive Designs. Today I have a special graduation card to share with you.

Our gorgeous niece, Claudia, recently completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree and is about to start her internship at a local hospital. An end to five long years of study certainly calls for a congratulatory card!

I paired the flying owl from the upcoming Jan-April 2023, Sale-a-bration Stamp Set, Adorable Owls with the cute graduation cap from the retired stamp set, Pure Gumption.

The adorable owl was coloured in using a variety of Stampin’ Blends – Smoky Slate for the cap, Cajun Craze for the eyes and Crumb Cake and Soft Suede for the body. I actually used a Pumpkin Pie Watercolor Pencil for the beak and feet.

To personalise the card I added a letter ‘C’ from the retired Playful Alphabet Dies and included ‘Highland Heather’ as it was the colour Claudia wore in her graduation robe. For the backdrop, I attached a Garden Green wreath (with some Distressed Gold off cuts) die-cut from the Natural Prints Dies.
