The Bow-Ho Stampers – Alternative Projects for our WCMD Tutorial Bundle

Hi there. Welcome to AddINKtive Designs. Lou and I are back with alternative projects for our current, Bow-Ho Stampers Tutorial Bundle. To highlight the versatility of our card folds we’ve recreated them using different products.

My Team Leader, Lou Kitzelman and I, publish Mini Tutorial Bundles whenever there are SPECIAL PRODUCT RELEASES or PROMOTIONS. We both love fancy folds and last month we designed two EASY card folds for our sixth Bow-Ho Stampers Tutorial Bundle featuring the three stamp and die bundles from the Stampin’ Up! ®, WCMD Crafting Event – Cottage Rose, Cottage Wreaths and Warm Welcome. Bendy Z-Fold Cards

For the Tutorial Bundle I designed a Bendy Z-Fold Card in two different sizes – a square version and a standard card size, landscape version. For my alternative projects I thought I’d focus on using products from the July-December Mini Catalogue.

So, this time around I made a square Bendy Z-Fold Card featuring the cute penguins from Penguin Place. I’m so pleased that this set is a returning fave in the mini catty.

I had way too much fun creating this playful scene using different shades of pink, some gorgeous glimmer paper and the Snowflake Specialty Vellum.

For my alternative,  landscape, standard card sized version of my Bendy Z-Fold, I used the Warm Welcome Bundle for Colour INKspiration Challenge #131. (Measurements for the square and landscape Bendy Z-Folds are included in the bundle for A4 and US Lettersize Cardstock). Surprise Message Tent Fold Card

Lou designed a Surprise Message Tent Fold Card and here’s my alternative project featuring the Ringed with Nature Bundle –

It’s the first time I’ve used the Give it a Whirl Dies with the interactive mechanism as well as the Tree Rings Hybrid Embossing Folder. Do you ever put off using some products because they seem a little daunting? That was me with both of these products! Crazy … right? Well, I’m pleased to say that Lou’s wonderful tutorial was the springboard I needed to get these products off my shelf and onto my craft desk.

I really enjoyed making this interactive card. The mechanism turns to reveal some Christmas berries and then an acorn. The die-cut leaves and berries were cut from Basic White Cardstock and coloured with Stampin’ Blends.
