Hello and welcome to AddINKtive Designs …
… Just when you thought the penguins couldn’t get any cuter … check out their adorable, woolly knits!
It was a happy accident when I smudged a penguin’s belly with my inky, gluey fingers and had this ‘aha moment’ to make a little jumper to cover up my mess; things kinda took off from there.
Anyway, the reason for making this card stemmed from a request. Someone in a Facebook group was wanting to know how they could make this card fold –
When I made the card (pictured above) for a Colour Challenge a couple of week’s ago, my intention was to write a tutorial for a Double Easel Card made from the Celebrations Tag Dies. So, yesterday I set out to achieve that goal – It’s the third in a series of an indeterminate number of card fold ideas I have for these tags 🙂 .
As I was on a roll with the penguins after making a Pop-Up Card for Colour INKspiration #132, I decided to do a ‘purple’ version for my latest project (A pink version [different fold} is coming next week). Yes, I am somewhat obsessed with these little cuties.
I’m really excited to introduce my latest card tutorial for a Celebrations Tag Dies Double Easel Card featuring the Penguin Place Stamp Set.
It has very clear photos and instructions (measurements in inches and centimetres) on how to construct this card fold, detailed explanation of the layout, as well as how to make the cute, woolly knits for the penguins!
I’ve also included some photos and a supply list for the Celebrate with Tags version.
