Hello and welcome to the sixth and final Blog Hop (and INSTA Hop) to celebrate my 60th Birthday. There were 6 hops in total, with 6 different themes over 6 months leading up to today.
Over the last few months I gathered a few Stamping friends to ‘virtually’ celebrate this milestone ‘event’ and for tonight’s hop we have a TROPICAL HOLIDAY THEME.

Port Douglas is our favourite holiday destination in Australia, hence the inspiration pic above.
I combined a few stamp sets and coordinating dies to create this Double Z-Fold Box Card and have used the ‘reverse’ side of a piece of Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper for the ‘sunset’ background.
It was a happy day when I decided to add box-card inserts into a Double Z-Fold Card. It’s been one of my favourite, go-to card folds for the last 6 years and you can see the original one I made, HERE. It’s an easy way to add dimension to a card and in this case it’s the lush palm trees that are the focus –
I loved creating this tropical scene on my card and as I type this blog post, towards the end of a cold Tassie winter, I’m dreaming of feeling the warmth of the sun on my shoulders and seeing the palm trees stretched out along the beach line.
