60th Birthday Blog Hop #1 – Inspiration Pic

Hi, welcome to the first Blog Hop (and INSTA Hop) to celebrate my 60th Birthday in 2022. There will be 6 hops in total, with 6 different themes over 6 months leading up to the big day!

I gathered a few Stamping friends to ‘virtually’ celebrate this upcoming milestone ‘event’ and we’re kicking off tonight’s hop with my Blog Header Pic as the inspiration for our projects.

I bought this pic a while ago and cannot for the life of me, remember where from. It’s a real beauty and sums up my love of the beach and orchids.

For my project, I took the Inspiration Pic quite literally and made a Beach Tote Box Card –

I used the All Dressed Up Dies to make this Box Card rather than a tote bag for which the dies are intended. I love to think of different ways to tweak a die to make a fun shaped card.

Lots of different products (current, retired, SU and non-SU) were used on this card to get the ‘look’ that I was aiming for and I absolutely love how it turned out.

It folds flat for posting and fits inside an envelope that measures approximately 6-1/4″ square.
