Hi there … it’s been a while. I’ve been cleaning up my craft room and as I type, I’m currently holding a mini ‘garage sale’ – selling off some retired Stampin’ Up! ® products to make way for new stuff!
Speaking of new stuff, my pre-order for the new January – June Mini Catalogue arrived last week and a couple of days ago I started to prepare for my first stamp class in 2 years!! The theme for my January classes will be ‘Let’s Get Punchy’ (I’ll be focussing on some of the many punches that Stampin’ Up! ® have on offer); I was keen to play with the Hello Ladybug Bundle (J-J Mini Catty).
Here’s a little sneaky peek at two projects that I’ve just completed with this bundle –
This cute bundle consists of a stamp set called Hello Ladybug and a Ladybug Builder Punch.
At one point while trying out the stamped images I went to fussy cut the large flower image with my trusty Paper Snips when it suddenly occurred to me that the Medium Daisy Punch might just ‘do the trick’. So, after trying it out I’m pleased to report that the Medium Daisy Punch does line up with the petals on the largest, Hello Ladybug Flower; however, it does punch out a smaller image.
I’m curious, would you fussy cut the image or use the Medium Daisy Punch? You’ll have to wait a little longer to find out what I decided to do and which ‘Brights’ Colour I chose for the daisy on my card (Polished Pink and Pale Papaya used in the samples below).
Let me know your thoughts in the comments – THIS or THAT? and you’ll go into a draw for your chance to win a PDF copy of the written tutorials for my Hello Ladybug Stamp Class. Competition closes next MONDAY, 20th December, 2021 at 8pm (AEDT).

Thanks so much for dropping by for my random Tuesday Tip,
Definitely use the punch!! Saves precious time so you can make more beautiful cards!
Bronwyn, this Ladybug set is adorable. It’s good to know the Medium Daisy Punch works. My hands are a problem and punches make things much easier. Enjoy your day!
The punch for sure! This is such an adorable bundle! Thanks for the tip!
That, the daisy punch, looks great, and much easier !
Can’t wait to see your finished project. To be honest I probably wouldn’t even use the stamp – I’d just punch straight from coloured cardstock and add a centre.
Thanks so much to everyone that left a comment here. Congratulations to Jennifer Self who commented on my Facebook Post! She has won a copy of the two tutorials that I wrote for my Hello Ladybug Class –
