M-Fold Double Planter Box Card for Colour INKspiration #111

Hi and welcome to my very late post for Colour INKspiration #111.

You can find Colour INKspiration Challenges on Facebook and there are two challenges every month (on the second and fourth Wednesdays).

The challenge for CI#111 is to make a paper craft project using all the colours from the chosen colour combination, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen; you may also add Basic White, Basic Black, Sahara Sand and Metallics to your project. We also allow ‘Ivory’ and ‘Bronze’ in the Stampin’ Blends. If you don’t have all the colour palette, feel free to use the closest SU substitute (ie: MInt Macaron instead of Soft Succulent)

Crew Member, Nicole Wilson, chose our inspiration pic for CI#111.

For my crew card I decided to re-visit a tutorial of mine from the July/August 2021 Dimensionals Tutorial Bundle – an M-Fold Planter Box Card. I decided to add another planter box to the design to create an M-Fold, Double Planter Box Card (with a couple of extensions/flaps).

It’s been almost two weeks since I’ve ventured into my craft room; I’ve been caring for my mum while she recuperates from another trip to hospital, so I haven’t had much time at home lately. Hubby went to get the Motorhome serviced today so I had a ‘small window of opportunity’ to go and make a card. Thankfully my ‘mojo’ is slowly returning after the busyness of the last 2 months.

This card will be for my mum’s birthday. I kept the front pretty simple as it’s the inside of the card that ‘steals the show’. I’m taking her on a holiday to the East Coast of Tasmania so the sentiments from ‘Timeless Tropical’ seemed rather appropriate. You can see the full list of product supplies that I used further down in the post.

Instructions for this type of card fold (my original design) can be purchased here –

You don’t have to have a blog to participate but if you do, you can link back to your post –
