Colour INKspiration #108 – Summer Shadows Double Easel Card

Hi there and welcome to my blog; today I’m sharing a Double Easel Card made with the gorgeous, FREE SAB Summer Shadows Dies for CI Challenges #108.

You can find Colour INKspiration Challenges on Facebook and there are two challenges every month (on the second and fourth Wednesdays).

The challenge for CI#108 is to make a paper craft project using all the colours from the chosen colour combination, Daffodil Delight, Polished Pink, Fresh Freesia, Balmy Blue and Coastal Cabana; you may also add Basic White, Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Crumb Cake, Sahara Sand and Metallics to your project. We also allow ‘Ivory’ and ‘Bronze’ in the Stampin’ Blends. If you don’t have all the colour palette, feel free to use the closest SU substitute (ie: Crushed Curry instead of Daffodil Delight)

Crew Member, Rose Packer, chose our inspiration pic for CI#108.

It’s such a fun, vibrant colour palette and I really wanted to use my new Sale-a-bration dies. I went with a Double Easel Card Fold and made a little flower easel with the largest flower die which acts as a ‘stopper’ for the larger, open easel.

The top layers on the Fresh Freesia and Polished Pink flowers were die-cut from the gorgeous, In Color Shimmer Vellum. White Elegant Faceted Gems were attached to the flower centres and clear ones to the butterfly. See further down in the post for a full product list.

Instructions for this type of card fold can be purchased here –
