A Slimline Card for Colour INKspiration #102

Hi there and welcome to my blog; today I’m sharing a Slimline Card for the latest challenge at Colour INKspiration.

You can find Colour INKspiration Challenges on Facebook and there are two challenges every month (on the second and fourth Wednesdays).

The challenge for CI#102 is to make a paper craft project using all the colours from the chosen colour combination, Polished Pink, Smoky Slate and Basic Gray ; you may also add Basic White, Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Sahara Sand and Metallics to your project. We also allow ‘Ivory’ and ‘Bronze’ in the Stampin’ Blends. If you don’t have all the colour palette, feel free to use the closest SU substitute (ie: Magenta Madness instead of Polished Pink)

Crew Member, Lou Kitzelman, chose our inspiration pic for CI#102.

While on holiday in Queensland I had some crafting time with my friend, Rebecca (also a Colour INKspiration Crew Member) and made this slimline card while I was at her place –

Thanks for a fun morning of chatting and crafting, Bec.

I’ve combined a couple of my favourite stamp sets, Friends Are Like Seashells and Artistically Inked but boy oh boy, I have to admit that I found this colour combo very tricky to work with! I guess that’s why they call it a challenge, right??

INKspired to join the challenge? It’s so easy. Firstly, get some INKspiration by checking out all of the creations from the Colour INKspiration Crew in the challenge album on our Facebook page. Then you have until Monday, 12th July, 7pm (AEST) to make and upload your creation to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group. You don’t have to have a blog to participate but if you do, you can link back to your post –

Like what you see? All the products that you need to make this card are available to purchase through my on-line store (Australian Residents Only). Just click on any of the product links below to take you there –
