The Stamp Review Crew – Artistically Inked

Hi and welcome to the Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop. The SRC are a group of International Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrators who love to show you different ways to use your stamps. Today we are featuring the Artistically Inked Stamp Set. You may have hopped over from Mary Haugen’s Blog or landed here from my ‘socials’, either way, welcome.

For today’s hop I’ve made a Pop-Out Panel Card – it’s a great fold to highlight both sides of  this gorgeous piece of Expressions in Ink Specialty Designer Series Paper which is part of the suite of products that coordinate with the Artistically Inked Stamp Set.

There’s very little stamping on this card, just one rose, some leaves and a ‘Happy Birthday’ sentiment on the front panel as the DSP tends to ‘steal the show’.

The intricate floral die was cut from Basic White Card Stock and it makes a striking contrast against the gorgeous DSP on the inside of the card.  The photographic images have captured the ‘alcohol ink art’ technique so beautifully. There’s also plenty of white space either side to write a greeting to the recipient.

The large leafy branch and ‘strip’ on the card front was die-cut from a piece of Gold Metallic Specialty Paper which has a textured finish to it. The front edging was cut from some Polished Pink In Color Shimmer Vellum with a Basic Border’s Die.

Lastly, I added a trio of In Color Jewels and then ‘stamped off’ the large flower on the envelope using Polished Pink and Pale Papaya Ink.

Like what you see? All of the products to make this card can be purchased through my on-line store. Just click on any of the links below to take you there –
