Hi and welcome to the Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop. I’m excited to be back with this talented bunch of stampers after a few months break. This is their second Bonus SAB Blog Hop for 2021 and I was keen to join in; it was a good opportunity for me to play with some of the Stamp Sets and Designer Series Paper before the month was out.
The Stamp Review Crew are a group of International Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrators who love to show you different ways to use your stamps. Usually we focus on a particular stamp set each hop but as this is a bonus hop featuring Sale-a-bration products, it’s quite an eclectic mix this time around. You may have hopped over from Mickey Robert’s Blog or landed here from my ‘socials’. Either way, welcome.
I wanted to showcase some of the gorgeous DSP and re-visited a fun fold made popular by Patty Bennett last year to make three very different cards.
THREE FUN FOLD CARDS
Patty used a US size card base – 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″. The DSP measured 5-1/4″ x 11-3/4″ and was scored along the length at the 1-3/4″, 4-3/4″ and 7-3/4″ marks.
I decided to try some measurements that were more suitable for our A4 card stock. The card base for each project measures 14.9 cm x 10.5 cm. The DSP is 14.4 cm x 27.5 cm and scored along the length at 3.5 cm, 10.5 cm and 17.5 cm (or 10 cm, 17 cm and 24 cm in the reverse order).
The first card really shows off the beautiful Paper Blooms DSP which coordinates with the In Bloom Stamp Set and Pierced Blooms Dies –

For the second project, I used a landscape, folded, card base and let the ‘accordion fold’ become a step up card. This one features the stinkin’ cute, Berry Blessings Stamp Set and Designer Series Paper. The front section has a place for a gift card (where I’ve popped my business card as a substitute) –

I just love the fun sentiments from the Approaching Perfection Stamp Set and I’ve used a couple of them on my third card – Flower & Field Gift Card Holder –

Thanks for hopping by,
Bronwyn, your projects are just so stinkin’ cute! I love the idea of using the fold to make a step up card and adding the pockets for a gift card holder. You are so amazing!!
Love your tri-fold cards!
