Tri-Fold Corner Box Card for TGIF Challenges

Hi and welcome to my blog.

I saw a very cute easel card by Paula Dobson on INSTA which inspired me to check out the latest challenge at TGIF

The Designer Take Over Challenge from Elizabeth Price is to make a 3D Card. I love making 3D cards so of course I couldn’t let the week slip by without giving it a go.

I designed a card which I’ve called a Tri-Fold Corner Box Card; it features products from the Boho Indigo Product Medley. This product medley is my absolute favourite that SU have released so far. Denim blue is the ‘go to’ colour in my ‘wardrobe’ so I was pretty happy when Misty Moonlight made its debut. Misty Moonlight features in the medley, along with Night of Navy, Very Vanilla, Gold and Garden Green.

I love that a tri-fold creates an extended ‘scene’ and there is also plenty of room to write a greeting. This design also has the added feature of a box card in the corner!

This is how it looks when folded ‘flat’ –

I have a few friends who have their birthdays in September so today’s project will be a handy addition to my birthday card stash.
