The Stamp Review Crew – Daisy Lane

Hi there. I’m back hopping with The Stamp Review Crew.  Welcome; thanks for hopping over from Betty Traciak’s Blog.

The Stamp Review Crew is a group of Stampin’ Up!® enthusiasts who love to show you lots of different ways you can use your stamps! Today we’re featuring the Daisy Lane Stamp SetThis is one of my favourite stamp sets and I’m so pleased to see that it’s staying around for at least another year.

I’ve teamed up the cute, smaller daisy images from Daisy Lane with the Silhouette Scenes Stamp (girl on swing), tree die (Sweet Silhouettes) and Garden Gateway Dies to make this Extended Z-Fold Box Card.

The Belly Band (Detailed Bands Die-Cut and Rococo Rose Scalloped Linen Ribbon) feature the large and medium daisy images from Daisy Lane; that punch out with the Daisy and Medium Daisy Punches

I’ve based this card on my Planter Box Extended Z-Fold Card but the height is 1/4″ taller and I’ve substituted the planter box section for an outdoor ‘fenced’ garden.

One technique that I did try for the first time was ink blending with some blending brushes. I made an acetate mask (cloudy border) and lightly blended some Balmy Blue Ink to make the cloudy sky. Pear Pizzazz Ink was blended along the bottom edge of the card for the ‘grass’. You can find the full products list at the end of this post.

I trust you’re getting lots of inspiration from the crew for Daisy Lane. It’s time to hop on over to Cindy Elam to see what awesome project/s she has created –

Thanks for hopping by,
