Hi there, I have something a bit different to share with you today; it’s a Decorative Corner Card. A tutorial for this type of card by Laura Lipe can be found on Splitcoast Stampers.
I’ve put my own twist on it and started with a portrait card from half a piece of A4 card stock (The tutorial on Splitcoast uses inches with half a piece of Lettersize Card Stock).
I’m entering my card into the latest challenge at the Paper Players – a Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge, #PP484 – Elements from the top row – RIBBON, RHINESTONES and PATTERNED PAPER.
5th April: So excited to be awarded the ‘Cut Above’ Badge from Design Team Member, Mary at the Paper Players for Challenge #484 –
Mini Tutorial
As you can see from my card, I cut a V shape at the front and back 4cms (1-/1/2″) from the centre score lines and cut off all but one of the triangular flaps (front left).

How clever Bronwyn – I couldn’t work out how this card came together until I saw the instructions, fascinating! I love the bright purple and yellow design too. Thanks for playing Tic-Tac-Toe with us over at The Paper Players this week!
