Hi there. Welcome to Addinktive Designs and the latest ESAD Blog Hop where a group of Aussie and Kiwi Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrators have come together to bring you a sneaky peek at loads of new products from the ‘soon to be released’ Holiday Catalogue.
I set about trying to use MOST of the products from my pre-order and am still in the ‘experimenting’ stages with some of them as you will soon discover! 😉
My first goal was to make a project with the Still Scenes Bundle, Snowflake Sequins and Snow Globe Shaker Domes and came up with a Gift Card Holder –
1) Still Scenes Gift Card Holder
I’ve used the Feels Like Frost Specialty DSP ❤️ … again! and cracked open the Snowfall Accents Puff Paint and Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon.
Oh my goodness, I had so much fun using these products and loved watching the paint puff up with the Heat Tool.
For my second project, I CASED the catalogue (p 63) with the new Nature’s Beauty Stamp Set. I must admit that I wasn’t sure where to start with this set. It’s gorgeous but I was a little ‘stumped’. I switched the stamps from the example, used a piece of DSP from Come to Gather instead of vellum but kept Birch as the background stamp. The sample project in the catty is beautiful but I kinda stuffed it up with my ‘CASE’. I hope I get a better result next time –
2) Nature’s Beauty
Nature’s Beauty is a ‘Difference Maker’ as $4.25 (AUD) from the sale of every stamp set goes towards Mental Health Organisations.
Up next is a card I made using the Snow Front Stamp Set (cousin to Waterfront) –
3) Snow Front
I stamped a sentiment from Still Scenes before stamping a variety of images from Snow Front. It was really fun using the stamps in this set – the ideas are limitless to the amount of scenes that you could create. Unfortunately, I decided to add some Snowfall Accents Puff Paint and that was its ‘undoing’. Note to self – Wait for the very juicy Shaded Spruce Ink to dry BEFORE you add the puff paint. LOL.
You cannot tell from the photo but the Real Red card base has also been embossed with the new Winter Knit 3D Embossing Folder.
To complete my ‘Holiday Catalogue’ post, here’s a little round up of some Christmas Cards that I’ve already shared in previous blog posts –
