Oh my wordy, I’m a little bit excited about the card I’m sharing with you today. I’ve wanted to make a pop-up card like this for ages and finally got around to designing one.
I know there are dies out there in ‘paper craft’ land that make this type of 3D card but this is my ‘take’ on it using Stampin’ Up! ® supplies. I haven’t used any dies for the pop-up planter box, just some simple scoring and cutting from a template I put together.
Not only do the gorgeous medium sized daisies from the Daisy Lane Bundle (stamps and punch) ‘steal the show’ but the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper is gob ‘smackingly’ gorgeous! That DSP will be a firm favourite of mine until the catalogue expires in June 2020. I just love the photographic images and vintage designs of this lightweight paper. The colours for the daisies match the daisy borders in the DSP. Sigh! I love it when you can coordinate your projects so easily using the colours from a sheet of DSP.
Stampin’ Up! ® has put out a challenge to do a Product Based Class with the Daisy Lane Bundle during the month of June. If you’re looking for a real ‘wow’ project to do with a group of AVID Stampers Iook no further. This type of card construction is easier than it looks and my step by step written instructions and clear photos make it that way.
I hope you get a lot of joy from creating a variety of pop-up cards from my latest tutorial. Thanks so much for visiting my blog.
