… POCKET CARDS!
As You See It Challenge #181 is all about ‘obsession’. I have been following the AYSI Challenge for a while now but this is the first time I have played along. I think it’s safe to say that my recent obsession is indeed making Pocket Cards; thanks to my stamping buddy from WA, Jackie Aitken who got me started on them. They are very, very addictive. Today’s share makes a grand total of 19 so far and I haven’t finished with them yet.
There was one piece of DSP left over from my May Stamp Class and it was begging to be made up into a Pocket Card and this is what I came up with for the challenge –
I needed to make a Thank You Card and the sentiment from Beautiful Bouquet was perfect for a floral card. A Crumb Cake Stitched Label was added to the belly band, as well as a bunch of die cut flowers in some of the colours from the Share What You Love Suite and some gorgeous Rich Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon.
Here’s a little round up of the Pocket Cards I have made so far and proof that I am indeed obsessed –
What’s your obsession?

Wow, Bronwyn… that’s some obsession! And each and every one of them utterly gorgeous! I have to confess to never having made a pocket card before but seeing these, I think that will have to go onto my ‘to try’ list. Thank you for joining in with us at As You See It Challenge this week.
LOL, I would say you were obsessed with pocket cards too! They are so pretty! I think I might have to agree with Jan and give them a try–I haven’t done one for a long time and I think my club girls would love to try one out! Thanks for sharing these with us at AYSI this week!
Yeaaahh! I’d say that qualifies as obsession, Bronwyn! But they are all so unique and beautiful, this sample especially! I love the Stitched Labels and Beautiful Bouquet paired up with the Share What You Love DSP! They all naturally seem to go together, and the colours are amazing! I’m so glad you joined us at As You See It!
All gorgeous pocket cards. I must put these on my “list” too. Looks like a great way to make a dent in my pattern paper stash 🙂
What a gorgeous lot of pocket cards, Bronny. Love them all. I think I need to get back into my craft room (it’s been a long 6 months or so) & work out the dimensions & try one of these for myself. xxx
