Hi and welcome to addINKtive designs.
Aren’t these colours just gorgeous for the latest challenge at the Global Design Project? … so gorgeous in fact that they inspired me to whip out my holiday crafting supplies and see what I could do with the combo. I’m currently holidaying at beautiful Boat Harbour Beach and only brought along a limited amount of crafting supplies to do a bit of colouring, mainly with the Stampin’ Blends … no Big Shot, no punches … Eeek! Back to basics.
This colour challenge proved to be a challenge as I never intended to make any cards while on holiday (except the ones in the Color Me Happy Project Kit) and I needed to do a bit of colour mixing with my Stampin’ Blends to ‘make’ Sweet Sugarplum and substituted Light Pumpkin Pie for Peekaboo Peach (toned it down with the Color Lifter). I tried to get as close a match as I could with the supplies that I had on hand.
To achieve a Sweet Sugarplum shade I first coloured the roses with a Light Pool Party Stampin’ Blend and then blended in Dark Pink Pirouette over the top. It was certainly an improvement on the first attempt (Rich Razzleberry just didn’t come close!) –
Here’s the beautiful view that I look out onto while I stamp –
… and a photo of the beach from the lookout –
The water was a bit cold to swim in yesterday but today should be a different story.
Thanks for stopping by,

Wonderful job with your limited supplies! I love both versions. 🙂
Love how you cut out the DSP and adhered it to the edges of the card. Thank you for playing along with the Global Design Project!
