Display Stamper Blog Hop 04 – Castle Bridge Fold

Welcome to the fourth Stampin’ Up! On Stage, Occasions + SAB, Display Stamper Blog Hop.  I was privileged to display some projects at a recent On Stage Local Event held in Melbourne. One of the sets I was given to create with was Magical Day. You can view the Myths and Magic Suite on pages 36 &37 in the upcoming Occasions Catty.

For this bridge fold card I created a castle from the Home Sweet Home Thinlits and sponged Basic Gray Ink through the bricks from the Pattern Party Decorative Masks. The stamped images were coloured with Stampin’ Blends and finished off with a coat of Clear Wink of Stella Glitter.

I’ll be writing a tutorial for this project in readiness for the release of the new catty. Make sure you subscribe to my blog so you don’t miss a post!

  1. As usual, you’ve stun me. What a beautiful card. I was thinking “Princess and Prince, but hadn’t gotten as far as you have. I want to say, Thank you for all that your share and all that you teach. You help me think “Outside the box.”. You are awesome.

  2. I’m gonna try this! I have never made one of your cards in this folding style. ..but am gonna try this wonderful card…thank you for making a darling card!

    1. No, not yet, Becky … craft room to organise, DT commitments, summer holiday at the beach, stamp classes to prepare for, moving my mum to a new house, volunteering at my former work place. They say you’re busier in retirement. It is, however, the NEXT tutorial I will be writing … hopefully soon.

  3. Love the card!!! Can I ask what you used to make the door? Was it a stamp or embossing folder to get the look of the door.
