Yay! I’m back with a new challenge for Colour INKspiration and hopping along with the CI Crew. This week we welcome Juana Ambida as our Guest Designer for #CI11.
It’s the beginning of winter in our part of the world so I went with the following pic for some colour inspiration. Sitting down relaxing with a nice hot cuppa and a macaron make for a good winter ritual don’t you think? Can you smell the coffee?
Little did I know that when I put the colour swatch together way back in December, that Stampin’ Up! would be bringing out a super cute Coffee Cafe Bundle … and two of the colours in the coordinating DSP would be Early Espresso and Soft Suede! Winner, winner … chicken dinner.
My new catty order only arrived yesterday, so this is the first project that has been ‘freshly brewed’ (as Leonie Schroder would say) from my box of new paper craft goodies, especially for the latest Colour INKspiration Challenge! However, it’s not all about the coffee; make sure you check out the rest of the Crew’s projects in our blog hop as there is so much diversity this round.
For #CI11 I decided to make a Side Panel Easel Card that doubles as a sticky note (post-it-note) holder.
I made it for a colleague who is Acting Principal while I’m on leave, especially to thank him for doing such an amazing job in my absence. Jon loves his coffee and was pretty chuffed when we bought a brand new automatic coffee machine for the new staff room. Needless to say, we are going through the ‘beans’.
