Hi there. Welcome to CASEing the Catty #117. CTC is a group of Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrators from Australia and New Zealand who love to create using the Stampin’ Up! ® catalogues as inspiration.
Every Sunday night at 8pm (AEDT), the CTC Crew will either directly CASE (Copy and Share Everything) or use a sketch/layout, colour combo, embellishment, just to name a few examples, as a springboard for their own creations.
Tonight we are featuring projects inspired/CASED from pages 12 to 15 of the SALE-A-BRATION CATALOGUE.
We have been working with a different challenge format and we hope you love it as much as the crew do. The CHALLENGES for CTC have moved to a Facebook Group! You can join in here – https://www.facebook.com/groups/1625891621049580/
The CTC Crew will kick start the challenge with a blog hop and you will have all week to create and join in. We’d love to see you there and make sure you invite all your crafty friends to join the group.
My inspiration is taken from page 12 of the SAB Catty which is pictured below. I haven’t used any SAB items but have CASED the layout of the Tasty Trucks card.
Stamp classes started on Friday night and the theme was ‘LOVE’. I wanted to make a card that was suitable for either gender and came up with this fun, Love Ya Honey one, based on the above sketch.
The ladies seemed to enjoy making this as I did a few shortcuts to help with the process (pre-stamped the letters from the Labeler Alphabet and the lid of the jar with Staz-On on Silver Foil). I really like the embossed vellum for the background and that cute bee from Dragonfly Dreams was a hit. The little wings had an application of Clear Wink of Stella.
Thanks for stopping by.
Up next on the hop is the lovely and talented, Judy May –

Great card! What is your favorite technique for adhering vellum to cardstock?
I cheat and use vellum tape.
How cool! I saw this at SCS and had to come over and take a deeper look. I love the embossed vellum!!!
