Springtime Impressions Copper Tin

Hi there and welcome to my blog.

March seemed like the longest month in history but I didn’t get a chance to create any of The Dimensionals Tutorials in the bundle that month. Yesterday I sat down and did my version of Sharni’s Honeybee Copper Tin and Mini Album. I made a card to go inside the tin instead of a mini album and used the lovely Bird Ballad DSP and the gorgeous butterfly die from Springtime Impressions.

This project was created with the latest Festive Friday Challenge (#FF0056) in mind. They are celebrating National Library Worker Day and I’ve chosen Bugs/Insects (Butterfly), Foil (Copper Foil Sheets) and a Pocket Element (on the inside of the card) as the three items from the INSPO LIST.

Creating for a paper craft challenge gives me something to focus on when I step into my craft room. I’m blessed to have a variety of products to choose from, so setting a goal narrows the field down a bit and I get to play with some stuff that hasn’t seen any ‘love’ for a while. On a side note, apologies for the photo quality in this post; I will never use my light box with the ‘white’ background again. Ugh!

That butterfly die is so gorgeous and I’ve hardly used it, not to mention that I cracked open the Copper Tins for the first time! Then there’s the Bird Ballad DSP that is so pretty and the list goes on …

Thanks Festive Friday for another great challenge. Be sure to go and check them out! – 16th April – Thanks to Anne Marie and the other DT at Festive Friday for choosing my project as a Festive Fave.
