Poppies Planter Box Card Tutorial

Hi there and welcome to my blog. Today I’m sharing a new Planter Box Card featuring the vibrant poppies die-cut from Poppy Parade Card Stock using the beautiful Poppy Moments Dies.

As the construction is slightly different to my previous planter box cards I decided to write a brand new tutorial. Apart from The Dimensionals Tutorial Bundles, I haven’t written any individual tutorials for my shop for quite a while. There’s no need to elaborate on how difficult and strange life has been since the Corona Virus, COVID 19  was declared a worldwide Pandemic in March. I think I’ve experienced all the stages of ‘grief’ over the last few weeks and am only starting to accept the ‘new norm’. A bit of anxiety can certainly stifle creativity; even though I have crafted and blogged lately, my heart really hasn’t been in it.

Little did I know at the time when I published my FREE ‘Little Ladybug Fun Fold Card Tutorial’ how timely that was as many of us have had to ‘shelter in place’ to #stayathome to #savelives. Many of us are spending a lot more time in our crafty spaces and as I type this, there have been 335 downloads of my free tutorial to date. I’m so glad to have been able to spread a little joy during this difficult time.

Due to Social Distancing Regulations currently in place we can’t physically hug our loved ones but we can send ‘hugs’ in the mail. I thought a Planter Box full of beautiful poppies would be a nice way to do just that.
