Colour INKspiration #69

Welcome to addinktive designs and another fun Colour INKspiration Challenge and CI Crew Blog Hop.

You can find Colour INKspiration Challenges on Facebook and there are two challenges every month. However, due to the busyness of the holiday season, this will be the only challenge for December and the LAST CHALLENGE for 2019. We hope you can take some time out to join in with this fun colour combo that I sourced from Pinterest –

For my crew project I was totally inspired by the pic as well as the colour combo – anything beach related draws me in!

I made a Centre Step Shaker Card and added some shells, starfish and Decor Sand (Spotlight) to the inside of a Snow Globe Shaker Dome.

There were some Grapefruit Grove Foil Sheets in my stash (retired SAB) so I embossed a die cut with the new Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder and used it as a backdrop to the shaker element.

The All-Around Wreath Dies were stamped with the ‘speckled’ stamp from Magical Mermaid and some extra Grapefruit Grove foil branches, Gorgeous Grape leaves and Sparkle Glimmer Starfish were used to embellish the wreath.

After all the ‘frosty’ themed Christmas cards I’ve made of late, it was good to design one more appropriate for our Aussie Christmas. Thanks so much for checking out all the inspiration for our latest CI Challenge.

Up next on the Colour INKspiration Crew Blog Hop is the lovely and talented, Denita Wright- Smee

Even though the Crew are from the South Pacific Region, the challenge is an international one; so if you love all things Stampin’ Up! ®, please feel free to join in. You don’t need a blog to enter. Click on the badge below to take you to our Facebook group –

Happy stamping!

  1. Oh my goodness. This project is awesome and stunning and so so beautiful! I love everything about it! The little sparkly starfish and the purple leaves just set the wreath off to perfection!!

  2. Wow! I want to run right out and make the wreath and the card(s) for Christmas this year, just not sure I am willing to give up my little bitty starfishes and my little itty bitty sand dollars. I too LOVE the ocean and so my beach combing finds are precious (I have to travel 300 to 500 miles to get to the beach – my beach of choice is in Oregon) and I have to convince my husband its time again! I have been able to collect a large number of sand dollars which I used as Christmas card/gifts a year or 2 ago. Sorry, I babble — just love someone else who needs ocean air! And we too also started the camper traveling only a few years ago! (Our camper just keeps growing tho, gotta stop doing that, littler was easier to pick up and go!) (not retired yet – cant wait!) Life IS GREAT on the BEACH! And you create such fun and beautiful works of art!

  3. Oh my Bronwyn. I just love this. Think it is a little beyond me but I am going to YouTube to see how to make a Stepper Card. Thank you for sharing such a lovely card.

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave some comment love. I read and appreciate each one. Thanks for visiting addINKtive designs.
