A Cozy Cup for Festive Friday #47

Welcome to my blog; I have a cozy card to share with you for the latest Festive Friday Challenge. Its been ages since I’ve joined in but I had some time to play today and loved the elements in the inspiration list for their Thanksgiving Challenge.

The gorgeous Cozy Cup Stamp Set from The Greetery was in need of inking up. Hubby and I love a good cup of coffee so I couldn’t resist purchasing this set all the way from the USA. The images just make me happy.

I managed to tick a few items off the challenge list and included the following in my card –

  • Food – Does coffee count? 😂
  • Thankful Theme
  • Leaves
  • Cranberry (Merry Merlot)
  • Gold
  • Ribbon
  • Burlap (Stamp)

My ‘go to’ card fold at the moment is my Pop-Up Panel Card design and I thought the coffee cup would look great in the centre panel on a stamped Burlap image.

The woodgrain paper from the Come to Gather DSP (SU) is my current favourite and with only 2 sheets in the whole pack, I’m sad it’s almost gone.

Well, we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving in Australia but this afternoon’s cooler weather, gusty winds and misty rain were sending off a ‘Fall vibe’ and it wasn’t hard to imagine that it was Autumn here in Tassie. We often get four seasons in one day!

I really enjoyed some time in my craft room today. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
