The Stamp Review Crew – Birch

Welcome to addINKtive designs and the Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop. The SRC are a group of International Stampin’ Up! Enthusiasts who love to show you lots of creative ways to use your stamps and this week we are featuring the gorgeous background stamp, Birch.

The Birch Stamp is a great backdrop for the Planter Box full of Seaside Spray Daisies which pop up when you open the card. I’ve stamped Birch in Gray Granite Ink on Whisper White Card Stock and embossed this piece with the Subtle Embossing Folder. The stamp wasn’t wide enough for the wood grain to fit horizontally, so I had to overlap and stamp it twice. Thankfully you don’t really notice it too much with the daisies in the foreground.

Here’s a pic of the front of the card which I posted for a sketch challenge a while back. I decided to add another Seaside Spray Daisy to the copper label to balance it out a bit –

But it’s all about what’s on the inside of my card for this hop –

I hope you’re getting lots of inspiration for the Birch Background Stamp from the Stamp Review Crew. Up next on the SRC Blog Hop is my lovely friend, Nikki Spencer.  I can’t wait to see what she has created –

Or you can backtrack to my other Aussie buddy, Lou Kitzelman

Here’s a card I recently made for Colour INKspiration Challenges that features the Birch Background Stamp and a similar planter box –
