The Stamp Review Crew – Above the Clouds

Welcome to addINKtive designs and the Stamp Review Crew Blog HopThe SRC are a group of International Stampin’ Up! Enthusiasts who love to show you lots of creative ways to use your stamps and this week we are featuring the Above the Clouds Stamp Set.

I’ve made quite a few projects with this bundle as I was privileged to be invited to showcase these products in April at On Stage Live in Auckland. You can find a pictorial round up further down in this post.

For today’s blog hop I decided to make a Wiper Card as I’ve wanted to try this particular fold for quite some time. It was pretty straight forward to assemble as I used an MFT wiper die and followed a tutorial by Stephanie. If you’re wanting to make a Pop-up Wiper Card from ‘scratch’ there are plenty of You Tube Tutorials out there that will assist you in the process.

Here’s a mini video I made to show you the cool moves of the Hot Air Balloon

To make the cloud background I made a ‘mask’ from some Window Sheets using both of the long edgelit dies from the Rainbow Builder Framelits (they were in the Clearance Rack when I made this card) and sponge daubed around the edges using some Balmy Blue Ink.

The balloons were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and coloured with a variety of Stampin’ Blends (alcohol markers).

To complete my project I stamped the trio of balloons on the envelope with Balmy Blue Ink.

I hope you’re getting lots of inspiration from the Stamp Review Crew. Up next on the SRC Blog Hop is Cindy Elam.  I can’t wait to see what she has created –
