Hi there. I’m holding a Last Chance Products Stamp Class next week and have been busy designing some cards for my attendees.
I was so ‘consumed’ with making projects for my Auckland On Stage Presentation that some products I ordered from the Occasions Catalogue (current until 3rd June) hadn’t seen ink. Now there are only two weeks left to grab some gorgeous bundles before they’re gone for good and I figured I’d put off playing with some pre-order goodies from the new catalogue until some of my current stamps had seen some ‘love’.
The Wonderful Romance Bundle is definitely staying on my stamp shelf. Wow! … the die cut leaves, sprigs and floral stamped images are absolutely stunning and I wanted my stamp class ladies to make a project that will really showcase this beautiful bundle.
This is the card that I designed but we will be making a slightly simpler version in class; my attendees will, however, receive the tutorial so they ‘can step up their project’ a notch when they get home if they wish to.
I had an idea in my head which kinda evolved during the course of the day. Not sure what to call the card fold – maybe, a Centre Panel Tent Fold. It has a little ‘insert’ inside to allow a few extra layers of foliage to be added to create more depth. It’s a bit different and I was pleased with how it turned out.
