Colour INKspiration #55

Welcome to addinktive designs and another fun Colour INKspiration Challenge and CI Crew Blog Hop.

You can find Colour INKspiration Challenges on Facebook and there are two challenges every month. Join us on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays for a brand new colour palette.

Crew Member, Monique Fielder chose our latest Pinterest Pic. There are lots of gorgeous colours in this pic to inspire us but I narrowed it down to 6 – Coastal Cabana, Flirty Flamingo, Lemon Lime Twist, Grapefruit Grove, Rich Razzleberry and Smoky Slate.

For the Challenge #CI55 we are asking participants to CHOOSE AT LEAST 3 OF THE COLOURS for their project.  I actually used all six and CASED a card I made for a Stamp Set Showcase Presentation at Auckland On Stage.

It’s an Upright Z-Fold Card that I designed using the Above the Clouds Bundle –

The main focus of my presentation was demonstrating the actual card fold. I’ve had a few requests for a tutorial, so I decided to replicate the original card using the challenge colours.

My first plan was to do a video tutorial but as soon as I arrived home from New Zealand, hubby and I were straight into preparing for our first trip in the Motorhome. What’s a girl to do? Well I took the supplies I needed ‘on the road’ and the dinette in our RV became a designated craft area for a day.

It got a bit messy but I managed to make the card and photograph each step in preparation for a written tutorial. Go over to the Colour INKspiration Challenges on Facebook to see how you can receive a FREE copy.
