It’s my hubby’s birthday today and the images from the ‘Enjoy Life’ Stamp Set were just perfect for his birthday card. Brett enjoys bike riding and the beach and in two week’s time he’s retiring from work!
I’ve used some Beach Shack Kaisercraft paper for the background panels and seriously cannot remember the last time I used non-SU products on a card but I just love the beach themed images in this pack of 6-1/2″ square papers.
Sahara Sand Card Stock was used for the base of the Gate Fold and all images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
The card base measures 5-1/2″ x 12″ and is scored at the 2, 4, 8 and 10″ marks. It folds flat to fit inside a standard (C6) envelope –
We’ve both had high pressure careers, raised two gorgeous ‘kids’ and after almost 34 years of marriage, we’re about to join the 7% of Australians who ‘retire’ in their fifties. Fabulous card. My hubby also enjoys a bike ride (although mine is a few years off retirement – I hope my hubby’s health is still well enough when he does retire to still ride cause I think it will be difficult for him if can’t be active!).
