Hello and welcome to my blog. Tonight I’m back with the crew at CASEing the Catty for the CTC #181 Blog Hop and a new card challenge.
CTC is a group of Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrators from Australia and New Zealand who love to create using the Stampin’ Up! ® catalogues as inspiration.
Every Sunday night at 7pm (AEST), the CTC Crew will either directly CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit) or use a sketch/layout, colour combo, embellishment, just to name a few examples, as a springboard for their own creations.
Tonight we are CASEing projects from the brand new Stampin’ Up! ® Annual Catalogue – anything from any page!
The flower cluster on the front of my pocket card is CASED from page 110 of the catty –
The back of the pocket card is CASED from the bottom, left card on page 176 of the new catalogue. I have embossed the Petal Pink Card Stock back with the Lovely Floral Embossing Folder and coloured it with a White Stampin’ Chalk Marker –
For my second project I was also inspired by the images on page 176 of the catalogue (above). I have CASED the ombre sentiment on the gift bag (top left) –
I sponge daubed the top of the sentiment with Petal Pink Ink and the lower part with Rich Razzleberry Ink to give it an ombre look, cut it out with a Stitched Circle Framelit and attached it to a Pearlized Doily.
Sorry to be a tease but I won’t be sharing all of this card until tomorrow morning as it’s my main project for another blog hop!

Love the ombre greeting! And the floral cluster! And the chalked embossing! Now, I’m really inspired! Thankyou. Love the technique using the chalk marker – this is sometimes a very overlooked product!!
Lovely projects as always Bronwyn! I think it is nice to decorate the back of the pocket card not just the front.
