CASEing the Catty #165 – SALE-A-BRATION

Hello and welcome to my blog. Tonight I’m back with the crew at CASEing the Catty for the CTC 165 Blog Hop and a new card challenge.

CTC is a group of Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrators from Australia and New Zealand who love to create using the Stampin’ Up! ® catalogues as inspiration.

Every Sunday night at 8pm (AEDT), the CTC Crew will either directly CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit) or use a sketch/layout, colour combo, embellishment, just to name a few examples, as a springboard for their own creations.

This week we are CASEing our favourite project/s from anywhere in the SALE-A-BRATION Catalogue –

My inspiration came from page 17 of the catalogue that features the ombre die cut ‘celebrate’.

Instead of cutting three sections from different shades of card stock to achieve the ombre look as featured in the catalogue, I used Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends to go from light to dark across the die cut ‘celebrate’.

My lovely friend, Anne, had a milestone birthday last week so I made this special card from the Window Box Thinlits Dies and the upcoming  SALE-A-BRATION Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper (New SAB Rewards: Release date – 16th February).

You can find the tutorial for this fun fold here –

I hope you’re enjoying the hop.  Up next is fellow CTC Crew Member, Julia Quinn

Even though the Crew are from the South Pacific Region, the challenge is an international one; so if you love all things Stampin’ Up! ®, please feel free to join in.  You don’t need a blog to enter.

Live in Australia?  I’d love to be your Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.
