Colour INKspiration #13

Hi there.  I’m back with a new challenge for Colour INKspiration and blog hopping along with the CI Crew; we are group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from Australia and New Zealand who love to share projects using Pinterest inspired colour combinations.

I absolutely LOVE the colour palette for #CI13.  When I was searching for pictures of orchids on Pinterest to find colour inspiration for the Climbing Orchid Bundle, I came across this little beauty and decided to keep this pic for one of our challenges.

My project is a very literal interpretation of the challenge.  I couldn’t resist playing with the Climbing Orchid Stamps and co-ordinating dies for this one.

The little $2 pot came from the Reject Shop.  It’s one of several I bought last summer to use for paper craft projects.  I ripped out the plastic succulent to make way for my pretty climbing orchid. Florist wire is attached to the back of the orchid branch with Tear and Tape Adhesive and pushed into the foam and faux pebbles in the pot.

I hope you’re inspired by the Crew’s projects as you hop around their blogs. Up next on the Colour INKspiration Blog Hop is my lovely and talented friend, Julia Quinn.  She has a couple of gorgeous cards to share.
