Stampin’ Up! Catalogue Launch – Make ‘n’ Takes

Hi there.  Welcome to my blog and the second installment of projects from our recent Stamp Class/Catty Launch.  Today I’m sharing the two make ‘n’ takes we made.

The first one is inspired by the Fresh Florals Suite on page 94 of the catalogue –

My lovely friend and down-line, Jo Green, designed this card for us to make.  I chose to make the Lemon Lime Twist version.  It was my first play with the Detailed Floral Thinlits Dies and I somehow managed to cut the card fronts the wrong way up! Oh well, it was a Friday night after my first week back at work for a while 😉 LOL. It still makes for a pretty card.

Card  #1

I needed a sympathy card so added a sentiment from the Rose Wonder Stamp Set to the inside.

My lovely friend, De Arn, designed the second card (original idea from Pinterest) –

Card #2

I love this one as it is gender neutral and features a line up of those gorgeous pen images from Crafting Forever.  Most ladies at the class added a little sentiment stamped on a banner but I decided to ink up my Just Add Text Stamp Set that I won in Prize Patrol at On Stage in Sydney. We did use Kraft Card Stock (now retired) so I have substituted that for Crumb Cake in the list of supplies below –

That wrap things up for our recent catty launch.  At the next Stamp Class the theme will be Feminine Birthday.  If you live in the Launceston area and would like to come along, please contact me and I will send you the details on how you can join our Facebook Group to keep up to date with the latest events and specials.
