Colour INKspiration #12

Hi there!  Welcome to addINKtive designs and a brand new challenge at Colour INKspiration.  This week we welcome Esther Howard as our Guest Designer for #CI12 who is joining the CI Crew for the latest blog hop.

We are continuing on with a winter theme for the month of June with colours inspired by this beautiful knitted scarf.  The challenge is to make a paper craft project using four or more of the colours from the palette.

Choose four or more from – {Whisper White, Night of Navy, Elegant Eggplant, Cherry Cobbler, Flirty Flamingo, Dapper Denim, Smoky Slate, Peekaboo Peach}.

Despite the ‘winter’ theme, I actually went the opposite with a more summery look. I had a Flamingo pen in my stash, the Fabulous Flamingo Stamp Set was an all attendee give away at On Stage in Sydney and one of the colours for the challenge was Flirty Flamingo.  So with the three FLAMINGO ‘stars aligned’ I decided on a post-it-note holder and managed to incorporate 7 of the colours into the mix (all but Night of Navy).

The flamingo pen was a bit chunky, so the usual measurements for a post-it-note holder had to be adjusted slightly.

I hope you have been inspired by the Crew’s projects and will join us for the latest colour challenge.  Up next on the hop is the very creative, Narelle Farrugia with something a little ‘feathery and abstract’ –

Thanks for hopping by,
