Daisy Delight Card in a Box

Hi there.  Welcome to addINKtive designs. Today I have a 3D card to share with you made from some beautiful products from the Delightful Daisy Suite found on pages 126-127 of the new Stamping’ Up! Catalogue.

Yesterday I took time out to have some ‘craft therapy’ 🙂 and made this Card in a Box for the latest challenge at SUO – #176 – Out in the Garden.  I have included the measurements and some basic instructions at the end of the post if you’d like to make one too.

SUO #176 – Out in the Garden
Folds Flat for Posting

Card Measurements: Cut a piece of Old Olive Card Stock 3″ x 10-1/2″ long.  Score at the 2-1/2″, 5″, 7-1/2″ and 10″ marks.  The three box inserts each measure 3/4″ x 3-1/2″ (score in 1/2″ on both ends). The three pieces of  Delightful Daisy DSP each measure 3″ x 2-1/2″.

Picket Fence Edging is cut from Wood Textures DSP with the Classic Label Punch and the horizontal strips are about 3/8″ wide. They are attached to the card with Foam Adhesive Strips.

Front Flowers are fussy cut from Delightful Daisy DSP and attached to a die cut stem (Garden Green) and trellis (Wood Textures DSP) from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits.

Large Daisies are from the Daisy Delight Stamp Set, inked with Night of Navy and Daffodil Delight on Whisper White Card Stock and punched out with the Daisy Punch.

The Little Bee stamp is from Touches of Texture – Basic Black on Whisper White CS, coloured in with a Daffodil Delight Marker and Clear Wink of Stella Brush.

Thanks SUO!
