WWYS Challenge – Beautiful You

Hi there!  Welcome to addinktive designs.  A couple of weeks ago I entered a project using the beautiful stamp set, Carousel Birthday into the What Will You Stamp Challenge Blog.  I was thrilled to be chosen as a winner and to get a chance to Guest Design this time around.

Today WWYS is featuring the gorgeous stamp set, Beautiful You which  I am happy to say is carrying through into the next Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue!  I’ve hardly had a chance to ink this set (A couple of my downline like to borrow it 🙂 and was pleased that I managed to snatch some crafting time over the weekend after a busy first week back for Term 2.

There were a couple of kits left over from my recent Mother’s Day Class so I used the contents, plus some extras, to make a Hexagonal Base Pop-Up Card (same card fold that I used for the Carousel Birthday Challenge).

This is the fourth pop-up card based on Sanjay Soriano’s Design that I’ve made using the Window Box Thinlits Die. I have added an extra hexagon to the back so there are three layers for a fun 3D effect. This is definitely my current favourite card fold!

While I was photographing my card, I grabbed some business cards that were sitting on my desk and added them to the back of the card.  From card to Business Card Holder!

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope I have inspired you to ink up the Beautiful You Stamp Set and enter the latest challenge at What Will You Stamp?
